  2. My process:
    1. rip cd with vcdgear.
    2. demux the mpg with tmpgenc.
    3. encode the mp2 to a 48mhz ac3 with besweet.
    4. author the dvd with maestro.
    5. burn with nero.

But there is a catch.. Some of the episodes done this way have bluring and blocks at the bottom. They say it is caused by cutting out the commercials in the mpeg. So if you're lucky you can use this methode without trouble to put 8 episodes on a dvd.

  4. I was wanting to do this once, but i was told that Mpeg1 files with a framerate of 23.976 could not be put on DVD and that it has to be 29.097.

  5. I think i read somewhere the framerate should be 29,97 but there are programs which you can use to change the framerate.

One would be tmpgenc you can use it to reencoded the mpeg to the right framerate.

I don't know any other programs. But maybe some1 else can help you with that.
