My horizontal banding problem happens only with WMV files, the better the quality, the worse the banding. The quality of WM9 NTSC 512K is good but with any movement it bands and it must be interlace. I will experiment with deinterlace but I can't imagine doing that with all the shots in an 8 minute video. Could you look at mine as well? The problem is glaring about 15 seconds in. I am including 2 links, one a
    WM9 256 http://www.suttonbaymedia.com/icf.html
    and the other 512 http://www.suttonbaymedia.com/indiancreekalt.html.
Thank you. When I put all that work into the piece and it has to go in a WMV file for the client on a website it's really a problem.
I only have this problem with WMV, my VideoCDs and DVDs are beautiful.
Oh, I see I can add a JPG so will add a screen shot.
