I have a brand-new computer and I would really be happy if someone provide me the best choice of codecs for my computer, so I dont roam around internet and download other crappy codecs that screw my computer up.
(Sorry for the little bad-language, but it is really frustrated to get the comp. screw up with junky codec)
Thanks so much

Don't install any codec packs and don't just blindly install a bunch of codecs just incase you might need them...that is about the only safe rule. Aside from that, whenever you come across a file that doesn't play, then download and install the codec needed for that file. There is a codec list in the Tools section.
