Hi, I'm strictly Windows so I haven't a clue about this one:

I've decided to include PDF files of the printed books that currently come with the DVD which will significantly lower the cost. As I understand it all I need to do is add a folder to the DVD structure, e.g.,

    \AUDIO_TS
    \EXTRA
    \VIDEO_TS

in the \EXTRA folder is where I want to put these PDF files and other content.

I plan to write instructions for the insert card of the amaray case telling the customer how to get to this content. I've got the Windows users covered but I need to know what to write to tell the Mac users how to get to these files on their computer. Can anyone help me out?

    You mean like..
    1. Open the DVD volume
    2. Locate the PDF file in the EXTRA folder
    3. Open the PDF file and print

Just spoke with a mac user, and he said it's as simple as right clicking the icon that comes up on the mac desktop and click open and it will pull the folders up... will this work?

Yes, it'll work. It almost seems too trivial to instruct about, tho' I can understand if you don't want "How do I..." messages in your mailbox.

I would go with the double click method, it is easier and a lot of Macs were sold with a single button mouse.

ah thanks for the note about the double click instead of right click.. I do recall playing with a mac in a store and it only had one mouse button... You'd be amazed how many people don't even have computers, hard to imagine for us but I get orders in the mail sometimes or call-ins "I can't go to your website because I don't have a computer." And for some of the ones that do, without instructions they'd never be able to find these files haha.
