Just bought another 100 pack of 8x DVD-R Taiyo Yuden inkjet printable from Supermediastore.com. I almost always buy from them and have always had good service.
I'm now burning about 40% coasters though. It's always a write error when the burning is about 15% done or so. Is there such a thing as a bad TY lot? The discs look fine (no splotches or irregular coloring). I'm using a Pioneer DVR-110D drive, and nothing else has changes on my system.
Anyone else experience this? Is the burner failing? Or is there any other issue that I've overlooked?
Thanks

I can't say with that media or that store.
But I did a a problem with some GQ cd's from Frys last year.
My NU DVDRW 8X would not burn anything on them. They where supposed to be 52x and my system said they where only 16x and only got up to 8% done and failed.
Yet my kids old Lite On loved them. So that made here day over 90 cds to burn.
It may the burner may not like them. I've seen it a few times -
I have a Pioneer DVR-110D and all I use are 8x DVD-R TY's from Supermediastore. I buy the premium not the value line.
