problems converting myspace .flv's

I have yet to find a way to convert .flv's from myspace to anything I have tried Riva and SUPER but both give errors can anyone offer any help. Thanks

directshowsource("555526333.flv",fps=29.97) with AVISynth works fine here. You need to have Gabest's latest flvsplitter installed though since the file uses VP62 video.

Once you unzip the FLVSplitter.7z file to the FLVSplitter.ax file, then what?

Your search was too specific. Registering one directshow filter is the same as any other.

If you can't convert Myspace flv-videos, is there at least any player with which yon can control their brightness? Many Myspace videos are so dark that you can hardly see anything at all.

Here's how to register the file. Start button -> Run. Type "regsvr32 flvsplitter.ax" without quotes. btw p_l your avatar reminds me of pia in the getpaidforum.

I have a software that can convert flv with vp6 to avi.

Damn!!! $100 for that software.

Snagit does a hell of alot more than that for $40 and the demo is fully funtional, unlike this one that puts a huge watermark over the center of the clip.

BTW, that's all this program is. A screen capture software, not a vp6 flv converter.

It plays the file in it's own player and you click a capture button to capture the clip and click finish to stop capture. Then it saves to whatever you have as preset. It did seem to pick the right framerate though which other programs I tried can't seem to do.

I've come to the conclusion that you CANNOT convert vp6 flv to AVI or any other format.
