Here's another issue with Sony Pictures again. The Gospel seems to have that pause before the movie starts in some dvd players. Arcos at it again?

Are you using dvdfab decrypter or dvd decrypter?
Anydvd running in the background? Or you just telling us that your dvd pauses at the beginning?Life is like a pothole, you just have to learn to get around it. -
I need help backing it up....I backed it up with dvdfab decrypter but it's tooooooo big to put on the DVD. Anyone have any suggestions? I was unable to shrink it down with dvd shrink. Tried burning it to 2 DVD but it disabled the menu
Thanks in advance -
dvddecrypter to rip
run anydvd in the background.
then to shrink it to a dvd 5,just open up dvd2one,and get to the cells menu, and remove the strange sized mulitples of cells, some may be up to 37meg in size, most will be 0meg.
then burn as normal.LifeStudies 1.01 - The Angle Of The Dangle Is Indirectly Proportionate To The Heat Of The Beat,Provided The Mass Of The Ass Is Constant. -
Thanks Rotten...here isi what I see, please tell me if I should remove them all or the ones with 0 in them and no time limit
-
its the same for movie only or full disc.
remove all the 0meg ones/0.00 time ones too.
up to cell 10,and start with that
play it in power dvd once its converted first to check it,as you will get the pauses when it plays in there just as on a disc.
check all of the chapters for those weird cells too, some stay at layer changes and menus etc,but you get the idea.
by the way, what bout cell 1,2 and 3,are they the same or normal.
but from the look of it,now you will be able to detect the black screen/pause before movie phenomenon, that arrcoss introduces.
another way is to make a .psl file for dvddecrypter, that way you shoudnt even need anydvd.
its just like ripping, making a notepad doc out of what the errors are,and loading it into dvddecrypter, then reripping and doing the cell thing.
takes time, but hey,its free(to an extent).lolLifeStudies 1.01 - The Angle Of The Dangle Is Indirectly Proportionate To The Heat Of The Beat,Provided The Mass Of The Ass Is Constant. -

"it actually backup the movie with a commentary that plays thru the whole movie"
Happens... not often but it does happen, selecting the wrong audio track for a variety of reasons. Might want to check other threads covering this, use something like shrink to isolate the title etc.
