Hi,
I saw some VCD's having a good quality video. But when I convert my video (AVI rendered with Adobe Premiere) to MPEG-1 for VCD, the quality reduces. I don't know why. Whatever software I use, the result is the same. I don't know how they managed good quality in the VCD.
Please share if anyone knows, how to get a Video CD with a good quality Video.
Please HELP!!!!!

They are likely using a high quality source to get a high quality VCD. I use TMPGEnc for VCD MPEG-1 video. It's freeware for that and seems to do a good job of conversion. I haven't tried using other encoders that much for VCD. But I don't encode much to VCD format. I use VCDEasy to create the VCD format.
And welcome to our forums. -
For me , it's out as uncompressed avi or use an avi compressor , then the new avi is encoded using bbmpeg to mpeg1 vcd standards ... it can also be encoded to non-standard , but that's something else when it come's down to vcd's and the use of nonstandard mpegs .
I have been told my non-standard vcd's are superior in quality by those having seen them , when compared to standard ... and they want more of them .
