How to delete language stream from sub file

Hi,

I have some *.sub/idx files with more than 5 language streams. I want to delete 3 of them and keep 2 of them. Any idea how to do it? One of the 2 streams is image (non-english) so that it can not be converted to *.srt file.

I'm not sure about this since I haven't mess around with subtitile for a year, so forgive me if I totally misslead you.
I you are talking about keeping 2 languages for each of the idx/sub file, I think you can use the SubResync program from VobSub to select the Streams (Languages) from the subtitle this program loads, and then you can save that new idx/sub to a new different file.

VobSubStrip will do what you want.

i have a sub idx file and subtitle is on stream channel 2 and stream 1 is empty
vobsub strip just display stream channel 2
i wanna the subtitle be on stream 1

Edit the IDX in Notepad and just change the '2' to '1'? Then remove any traces of the original stream 1.
