I've been trying to burn JPG's onto a CD-R in order to watch them on TV
via my DVD player (Toshiba RD XS34), but I've been running into the
    following problems.

    1. I've tried burning Data CD's using multiple software packages (FastEZ, CDRWin, BurnAtOnce, CDBurnerXP,...). The DVD player always recognizes the disks as "Photo CD's", and correctly displays the folder structure and filenames, but won't show the pictures.

    2. I've tried burning a Video CD using FastEZ, but
the resulting VCD does not play either (it shows the first picture as a
thumbnail with a "1" next to it, as well as "Trial Version", but I
can't get it to display the pictures).

I previously posted a topic in this group (https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1488939#1488939), and my attempts above were the results of the advice I received. Does someone have the Toshiba RD XS34 and been successful in burning a CD with JPGs? Can that person please tell me which software s/he used and which exact settings?

Any help is appreciated, especially since I'm now running out of raw media
