VideoHelp's Host contacted by Macrovision: NEW RULES

Videohelp's host servers provider, theplanet, was contacted by Macrovision recently. In the letter, they demanded that Videohelp remove any DVD ripping software it hosted (one moderator had hosted Mac-the-ripper) and not directly link (hotlink) to any DVD ripping tools.

VideoHelp plans to comply with these instructions. Because indirect links are still lawful, dvd ripping tool webpages will be linked to, in the tools section, but not the files themselves.

We ask members not to hotlink direct to DVDShrink, DVDDecrypter or ANY dvd ripper tools in their posts.

You may link to ripper tools sites, but not the file directly.
