It's been a while since I posted anything to this forum and so I just want to post a "Thank you!" to Chrissy Boy

I've just done a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit and have been setting up all my "must have progs". SVCD2DVD went in without any hassles, installed as Administrator. Win 7 set it to run in XP sp2 compatibility mode and I set it to run as Administrator as well. Registered without a problem.

I have yet to use it to encode a DVD and will report back if there are any problems.

Bottom line is that this is still a great prog that I have been using regularly since 2006 and have no need to replace it as yet.

Chrissy Boy, thanks for all your work... I really appreciate it.

I have to agree 100%. I haven't bought many programs and hadn't used this in awhile myself until i built myself a decent quad-core computer. I installed SVCD2DVD just to see how much better it would run and it was just a quick reminder of how incredible this program is. Thanks from me as well

A quick update on using SVCD2DVD with Windows 7 64-bit...

If you upgrade Windows 7 builds (which is not recommended) you may find that SVCD2DVD stops working. If you do a new (clean) install it will work. I suspect that an upgrade install of Windows 7 "breaks" the SVCD2DVD install.

    +1 from me.
Installed on new Windows 7 install.
No messing about, straight install, Run as Administrator. Installed to default Program Files (x86)
    Installed latest Imgburn
Set shortcut to "Run as Admin"

No issues whatsoever, does exactly what it says on the tin!

    Nice one ChrissyBoy 8)
