    Hi,
    Hope someone can help!
    When I setup FAVC and click 'Generate DVD' I get...
    Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.
    Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Documents and Settings\Mark\Documents\Config.ini'.

    Click on details gives me the following...

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    It's related to .NET 2.0

    Try the latest version of the Runtime Libraries

    I reinstalled .NET 2, but no joy, but not tried this service pack so will give it a go.
    Thanks for the reply and link!

  4. Just for chuckles try installing FAVC in a folder so that there's no space in the file path. I have mine in C:\Utils\FAVC

    The Config.ini file is therefore located at:
    C:\utils\favc\Documents\Config.ini

    Windows allowing spaces in filenames has broken more code that any single change. No reason for it at all!

    Fully enabled freeware for Windows PCs.
