PSP H264 vs PSP 2.81

It dosen't work on the 3.11 firmware, too.
On the other hand, iPSP keeps the compatibility up.
Major, would you like a short clip in original and after iPSP encoding? I encoded in FFmpegx as a simple psp h.264, no settings modified.

Users above seem to say that if one stops the encoding before the final step, then the file works. If that is the case, I don't need a clip.

Maybe i'm not too good at it, but that way yes, it works... only at the end of the file the audio restarts. Not sure why, not sure how and totally no clue why it's just a bit, not the full thing o_O'

Hi,

I am using ffmpegX for convert videos to H.264 PSP format.
My PSP firmware is 3.11.

Convert with ffmpegX 0.0.9x r2: PSP shows "Corrupted data".
Convert with ffmpegX 0.0.9x: PSP can play H.264 videos.

It looks no "r2" version converts normally.

My ffmpegX options is, ex) H.264 768Kbps video, 128Kbps AAC,
320x240pixels, High Quality, Use B-frames, 4motion vectors,
Two-pass encoding, Trellis quantization, Quater pixel ME (qpel).

By above options, gets beautiful results.

sadly I don't know really if you manage to discover where it is let me know. maybe limewire or other p2p applications may help.

Did you fully delete the 0.0.9xr2 version? I have been trying every single freakin' combination of encoding techniques listed on this forum and none of them worked unil I downloaded the 0.0.9xr1 version again . But I tried it on my iMac 2ghz core duo with the r2 version still on my computer and it didn't work, then I deleted the r2 version, re-encoded the movie with the r1 and made sure to put it in the ANV folder on my memory stick and HOLY FREAKIN' GOD it finally worked!!! Let's hope it'll work for you
