  1. Hi
I just converted 2 avi files into mpg2 dvd compliant files
Now i merged them into 1 big file using tmpgenc using the mpg tools .
When i try to play it with windows media player it play well in the first part but if i try to scroll to the end on the movie it always freeze and wont play.
Can anyone tell me how can i solve this problem
is it in the merge process or in the converting process ?

btw the 2 sperate mpg files are playing properly.

    Thanx a lot

tmpgenc mpg tools is not that good for mpeg2 editing. I would use videoredo,mpeg-vcr,tmpgenc mpeg editor or a free tool like cuttermaran,mpg2cut2.

or join the mpeg2s when you author to a dvd.

Like Baldrick suggested...If you are making a DVD, then instead of combining the the two mpegs they can be "merged" during the authoring process so thay they play one after the other. Far less hassle and less chance of sync problems. Try TDA.
