I think starting a new thread would probably work better, unless you have the capture hardware and software mentioned in the old thread, plus an older PC able to run Windows 7 so that you can use VirtualDub. You can reference that old thread in your new one if you need to.

@Buddy: No, please don't. That helpful and positively ending thread may likely become derailed and diluted by a bunch of useless debates and personal insults - similar to what happened in other cases.
You have already opened your own 2 threads. Add a link in your own thread where you asked for some guidelines and recommended processes - and continue searching and eventually start learning by doing. Nothing replaces personal experience .
