I NEED someone to explain to me like I'm 5 why every video I've made in coolcut recently has been coming out with graphical glitches like this and if it's possible to make it so that my videos stop coming out with these kinds of glitches, and if so then please explain how to do so like I'm 5

What is this the 'explain like I'm five' subreddit over here? Anyway why not try a different free video editor like Shotcut or DaVinci Resolve?
Maybe the problem is Coolcut itself..
Why not also try and encode the ripped mkv as an mp4 in Handbrake, just to test if Coolcut is the culprit.
