Hello,
I have two Sony DVD/HDD recorders:
Sony RDR-HX650
Sony RDR-HX720
Originally the HX650 was set to DVD3 command mode and the HX720 was set to DVD1.
I changed the HX720 to DVD3 so that I could use one remote control for both machines.
After that, both machines seem to have problems with recording and dubbing.
Both units still play DVDs normally.
The HX650 can still receive external video from a Philips player and appears to record to the HDD.
However, HDD/DVD dubbing does not seem to work correctly anymore.
Pressing RECORD does not always show the normal REC indicator.
Has anyone experienced this issue after changing Sony command modes (DVD1/DVD2/DVD3)?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
