    Hi,
I am testing Samsung Galaxy A70 mobile phone.
I have taken an image of a text book and the details are as shown:
My question is if it is possible to increase the horizontal and vertical resolution. It shows as 72 dpi

DPI is for print - DPI does nothing for the digital resolution of 4032x1316 pixels

Check if your phone has a higher resolution image mode when taking shots - it probably does

There is a 32MP mode, which records is 6258x4896

For the existing photos, you can increase resolution (in terms of number of pixels) by resampling or upscaling - That does not necessarily mean "quality" is increased - it would depend on how you are upscaling

    Thanks.
I am trying to get the best images for the OCR.
Will make sure to take images with the 32MP resolution camera next time.
