    hello

    sony 8x dvd-r for $24.99/50pack at compusa any good?

    i just returned from compusa and bought this:

    they even sold me 8x speed media sony insted of 4x....

    how about quality, will they last long?

    What's the media code on them? If it's CMC then it's junk media.

    no one knows for sure the lifespan of dvd media. according to the dvd media section it says the media is good on dvd & pc reliability & burning reliability is mixed.

    if you want good quality dvd media to store data and movies then purchase TAIYO YUDEN discs from RIMA.COM. as the old saying goes, "YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET".

    comparatible with verbatim and maxell and taiyo yuden?

    are those sony better than ritek G05?

    They're probably as good as SONY04D1 was (4x DVD-R). They were quite decent.

    anybody has KPROBE test for those sony 8x...
    and would be so kind to post it here....i do not have liteon drive just pioneer 108 and i am not able to test PI/PO...
