  1. When you make a vcd with menu(with Nero), that menu is watchable in Pc? or just in standalones DVDs?
    If the menus can be viewed in Pc, with what software(ie program)?

  3. WinDVD properly plays the menus. many of the PC players simply play each dat file as videos, thereby making the menus inoperable.

  4. Most/all software DVD players are also VCD capable and will play menus as intended. Unfortunately, Nero does not correctly author menus (i.e., there is a bug) and Nero made still menus hang most software players and even some hardware players.

    This is Nero specific. Menus made with other proggies (e.g., VCDImager) play just fine on software players.
