I want to capture a widescreen show from my digital TV set top box using ADVC100. It seems however when I use Videostudio or Powerdirector to capture they only capture full frame and the widescreen show is strected to fill the full frame.. Do I need to change the set top box to letterbox display(thats the only way I get the black bars top and bottom of the frame)
I want to put this show widescreen on a DVD, just not sure about capturing widescreen.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Use an author tool that can set it to 16:9 anamorphic like dvd-lab pro. Or change the authored dvd to 16:9 using ifoedit or pgcedit.
