Hi
I am looking to buy a DVD player which will read my MP3/WMA files which are burned on DVD (+-) R/RW. Ideally it should have a Digital Optical out as well, and support long file names. I was thinking of the Toshiba 4900, but I dont think it supports long file names. Please let me know your recommendations, and if you have direct experience with the player. Thanks

I use the Pioneer XV-HTD540 plays DVDA and SACD fine, supports -+R, photo discs and mp3 discs...not sure about WMA though.
It uses coax NOT optical.
Only downside is this is about $350 and currently no region/macrovison hacks for it. I think Best Buy in the US may still have it on sale for $300 or you can check amazon. -
Thanks for the info. I just bought a Pioneer DV578A yesterday. It is supposed to do everything I need, but we will see.
