I have a number of divx avi files that have converted to mpeg1(vcd) and play without any problems. I have used TMPEGenc for video and virtualdub for audio. I have tried changing many settings in both programs, but when I convert to mpeg2(svcd) the video will be constantly jerking, the audio will be popping, and the audio will echo. I added some extra codecs, but I wouldn't think that it would be the problem, because I am using an ATI All-In-Wonder video card with ATI's dvd software installed which should include many of those codecs. I haven't seen this issue addressed in the site or forum. If you have any ideas, that would be great. Thanks.
