I am having rotten luck with my P3-1000 on an ABIT ST6 board, so I want to switch to an AMD 1700XP with 512mB RAM and a 30G and 60G drive combination. I am using an ATI card but want to capture AVI at 720x480.Can anybody recommend a good motherboard for this combination?
    Many thanks,

Better try a dual amd on a tyan board
Tyan [S2462UNG] Thunder (5PCI) ATX AMD [Socket A] Dual Athlon MP w/U160
if your two drives aren't scsi then you won't need the scsi on board so choose the one w/o U160
won't have any problems after with that.

  4. How about Iwill's XP333 or for raid XP333-r. It is one fast board and the front side buss can be set to 166Mhz (333 Mhz)DDR. I also read they had one at 180 Mhz (360 Mhz) DDR.
