    Hello,

I need a software that can create visual effects on video. I don't need the usual effects like scene transition filters or crop image etc. I need to be able to completely transform the image or part of the image, something like photoshop filters for pictures.

Althow I preffer something not very expencive, any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Have a look at Wax http://www.debugmode.com/wax/ - it's free! You can use it as a standalone, or plugin with Vegas, Premiere, and Editstudio editors.

After Effects would be the perfect job for that task, though it does have a heavier price tag and learning curve, but when mastered theres not much you cant do.

  7. You can always go with moviemaker if you have xp. If you don't like the ones that come with it I think you can download others.

How about Cool 3-D Production, here's a sample. It's a still image placed on a square which has then been warped, this warping is animated. You can add your video as a background and do the affects over the top. Little over $100

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think I 'll first try wax (which is free!) and then I 'll download the trial version of After Effects to test it.

Wax is beautiful-(thank you Madame Tussaud)!!
Nice software-a bit steep learning curve but manageable by members here.
Thanx Safesurfer for bringing it to our notice.
