    Does any one know how can i editing the brightness of mpeg file? bcoz the movie i downloaded was too dark.. Thanks

    No, really, there's no other way than to reencode and apply filter(s).

    mrtummy,

    I think you have two options that will help you out:

    - Increase the brightness and/or contrast on your monitor, or,

    - Buy the damn movie.

    VirtualDub comes with a brightness/contrast filter that might do the trick - A lot more can be found here.
