    I've recently upgraded, and lost a much valued tool - It's a ugly black GUI that tells you some properties of a mpg file, and lets you alter values like resolution and stuff. Can't remember its name and can't find it. I know it's listed here somewhere. Anyone who know what I'm talking about?

    I think avicodec or gspot will read mpg info - the newest version that is. Can't helpy you with the altering stuff.

    Nope, nope and nope. It's for mpegs. (I'm doing the SVCD2DVD trick "by hand".) Thanks anyway!

    there is also bitrate viewer. even though the name leads you to believe its only for BR it will give you all info and its got a black graph screen in it.. other colors too.. its a free tool found on this site..
