Well, once I get my recorder back up and running what type of DVD-R blanks would you recomend?? I have used both "Sonic" which caused the below failure and I believe Ritek GO4 they are silver tops and work great.

Riteks,sony and also try the compusa 2x media (they are princo) they work ok but I prefer better media.

Thanks, yeah I got Riteks (silver) right now, those are great cheaies just got near dime store cheap (Sonic/.25) I unfortunately saw those Sonics for 100/$35.00 and the cheapskate in me wanted to save $6.00 as "Princo was $40/50 and I though dang that was a sweet deal and well you know the result heh, thing is those Sonics worked fine earlier in the day heh and in my old Panasonic as well hehOriginally Posted by louthewiz
