  1. Hi..first of all, am sorry if this question has been posted somewhere else, I tried searching the forum but did not get what I am looking for.

I have a home video in mpeg format. I want to overwrite the audio with some other audio from mp3. Is there any software which would allow me to edit mpeg and add any amount of mp3 as it goes?

Second question, my home video, not only I want to add mp3 audio, but I want to add another video clip at the bottom left (3" by 3") on top of the home video.

Any clue how I can make that. Can TMPGenc or Virtual Dub do it or do I need any other software?

    ANy help is welcome. Thanks

you can use virtualdub (virtualdub-mpeg2 for mpeg2 video).
    open the video
add the new audio under audio->wav audio and open the mp3 audio
install a logo filter, http://neuron2.net/logo.html , and add the logo under video->filters
    select video and audio compression
    save as a new avi.

    or get a "advanced editor"
