I have captured about 2.5 hours of film from a DV tape. Is there any way I can get this to fiit on one DVD? I have watched some movies that are almost 3 hours that fit on 1 DVD...but I end up needed 2. I am using Ulead movie studio...

    Hello,

You can use this for starters:

It's a video bitrate calulator. Use it to determine your final dvd size. The lower the bitrate the more that will fit (and the lower the quality will be).

  3. You can actually fit 5 or 6 hours of video on a singel DVD5 disc... albeit the quality will not be the best.

First use 1/2 D1 resolution which is 352x480 at a bitrate of 3500 max and you should be able to fit your video on a single disk
