I've recently started experiencing a problem with Tmpgenc Xpress 3 that has me baffled.
Any file that is 23.976 fps or 29.970 is now read by Tmpgenc as 30fps in the "Set Source" window, with no option of changing it. For 23.976 files in particular, Tmpgenc no longer automatically selects the "3:2 pulldown playback", but just leaves it as interlace.
The files seem to encode fine, but the problem is that A) until recently Tmpgenc would recognize the correct fps automatically and B) I don't have a hardware DVD player at the moment so I can't know if the files are encoding correctly (they play fine on WinDVD but that's no guarantee).
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
