Weekend Plans....

You know what I'll be doing .... what's the plan for the weekend?

Mow the lawn, do some homework, play with the kids, go to church. thats about all, oh and sleep some.

Clean the turtle tank filter (again ). It stopped today from an overload of turtle filth

Spray the garage with insecticide to keep the centipedes away for another 3 weeks.

Probably do some more tweaking on the new PC.

Misc. yardwork and repairs around the house. Damn, what a boring life

Work, hang out with friends, maybe go to the movies, and start studying for the chem final.

Not much this weekend. Need to make up for the time I took off yesterday. Need to write up an estimate for some development work. Maybe clean the garage.

It doesn't have an internal capture card. I already had a USB2 MPEG capture box so I got the PC without the card. It does have a Pioneer 107D +/- DVD burner, which was a nice surprise.

The thing runs like a striped-assed ape. I love it, after clunking along on my 1.13 P3 laptop for so long. And that 17" LCD ....I think I'm a believer in those now I'm a happy camper

- audition a new singer
- move from current band space into new band space
- finish making the shelves that I'm trading for a refridgerator, and go install them
- go to a movie with the little woman
- prep living room to finish plaster work & painting.

if I can get all that done this weekend, I'll be pleased.

* The usual amounts of alcoholic refreshment

Oh, and some moderate post-whoring.

I'm a happy camper

Why must I keep dangling that carrot in front of Mr. Murphy? That post was made at 2pm Friday. At 9pm Friday, our home LAN manager-server/router PC went tits-up. I had just replaced my main PC two weeks ago

So ....my weekend plans changed. Back to normal now with the new one ...and I'm not uttering that particular happy-but-dumb comment ever again
