I've been reading off and on lately about these devices (see this article on 4 OSX: http://www.4osx.com/forum/index.php?s=6e65678524f0104dffc875ad0e4a959a&showtopic=9198).
I'm curious about how you all feel about these things, especially one in the form of an iPodAV ... Personally I'd love to have something to play all these damn MPEG4 videos I've been making lately. I just think dismissing them before they even come to market is like back in the day when people were saying Windows users would never be attracted to an MP3 player made by Apple ... especially one made by Apple (and we all know how wrong that was).
If Apple doesnt release such a device next month I'm totally spending the cash to get the Archos thing.

Yeah, it is already a major area of use for Pocket PCs.
Check out Betaplayer at www.corecodec.com
Between that and Morphgear, you have everything you need for portable entertainment.
