  1. I thought I knew how, but I'm not so sure now. I used AutoGK to rip a dvd and make it an avi file. The video quality is seriously sucky, but I don't care much about that right now 'cause I want the audio and it sounds great. I'm just not sure what to do now. I would really appreciate the help!

    rip vob files to HD w/ decrypter, extract audio using dvd2avi and then convert audio mp3 file.

    thats just 1 way to skin the cat

    Rip it with DVDDecrypter in stream mode, then de-select the video stream. It will give you an AC3 file that you may then convert to wav, MP3, whatever.
