  1. Im looking for a program that will enable me to shrink the large mpeg files that I have created from anime avi files. I have for instance the entire cowboy bebop on my hardrive encoded to mpeg, they are all about 500mbs and can only fit 6 episodes to a dvd. Is there anyway to have a program shrink then down so I can fit more to a dvd? If so do I lose quality? Please all help is APPRECIATED
    Thanks,
    Dain

Better to just use the correct bitrate when encoding your AVI files to MPEG. There's a bitrate calculator somewhere on this site.

  3. For Anime, i find average bit rate as low as 1900 - 2000 still produce good quality. At this average bit rage you can put around 4hrs to 4.75hrs onto 1 dvd.

  4. Aaaah, so I have to use a calculator, and then figure out the correct bitrate and adjust when Im about to encode using TMPenc? That makes sense, im such a newb I never thought about it. Thanks for the help Sacajaweeda and Still Learning here!

it all depends on how many eps. you would like. I have 20 episodes on 1 dvd. The quality is great.
