I have read from the forum and some one refer me to use DVIO to capture from my DV Cam into a avi file in my PC. Then I try to cut/edit it by virtualdub. However, I encounter such an error message
** Quote **
Couldn't locate decompressor for format "dvsd" (unknown)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.
** Unquote **
My PC is running Windows 2000.
Any idea what I should install for the codec and where I can find it?
Thanks a lot.
