  1. alright iam doin a pal to ntsc conversion using tmpgenc and Iam using the template ntsc film, so I know all the settings are right under the video tab, under the advanced tab the source is nob-interlaced/progressive and I chose do not frame rate, know what I need to know is this, there is an option called inverse telecine under the advanced tab know when iam doing a PAL to NTSC conversion is there any reason why I should check this option/filter and use the auto-setting to set it to some specific seting like 24fps: Flicker prioritized or 30fps: Flicker prioritized? Should I mess with this option at all?
Ok my next question when doing a pal to ntsc conversion is there anything I have to set or change on the gop structure or the quantize matrix?

IVTC is for going 29.97 to 23.976, you're going from 25 to 23.976, so leave it alone!

NTSC GOP can be 18 frames rather than PAL 15, don't forget to set 3:2 pulldown on playback. quantization matrix can be left as is.
