Her problem stems from the fact that she's using a Hauppauge card. IF she'd got a Nebula, there would have been no problem! Also she needs PVAstrumento to change the TS into a PS before TMPG will accept it. Thats it, I'm rambling again!!

you're right that it's a struggle, but it does get easier all the time. the site itself is a manifestation of that, we used to be VCDhelp.com then DVDRhelp.com, now we work with DV, DVB, HD and analogue sources, and with Blu-ray questions round the corner we're Videohelp.com
Here's hoping you manage to get your matches on one of them shiny discs.

freeview is the UK's terrestial digital free to air TV system.

The article is accurate, even more so for today.
I'd hate to be just starting this hobby/business/insanity of DV
and DVD right now. It's easier but far more confusing.

I have no problems with my Hauppauge card either...

Well....I didn't say I don't have any problems with it, I just said I don't post any stupid crap. Actually, I really don't have any problems with it except that it causes a problem with the preview in MM2. Since I rarely use MM2, it's not that big a deal.
