Subject says it all. Got Premiere Pro installed, got CCE SP 2.67 installed. It even installed the codec specifically in the Premiere Pro plugins directory! But Premiere Pro absolutely refuses to see any MPEG2 codec but its beloved MainConcept codec, which btw I can't say I recall installing.

Anyone have any clue why Premiere Pro isn't seeing it? (Before you say "Use Tmpgenc" or whatever it was, there are reasons why I need Premiere Pro. Namely, Vixen, and who knows what other nifty gadgets that aren't exactly compatible with freeware.)

Anyone have recommendations for sending Premiere Pro's video to something that DOES see CinemaCraft Encoder SP?

    Thanks!

It's in there.................. you just don't know where to look.

Click File > Export > Movie. In the dialog box for saving the AVI, click on the settings. Then select the CCE encoder in the compressor dropdown list.

Debugmode Pluginpac Frameserver will also work.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  3. as racer-x has stated the encoder is there, you just need to know where to look,

hit file -> export -> adobe media encoder, an opening box should appear. From the format drop down menu choose MPEG 2 or whatever you wish to encode to, simple.
