  1. ...where can I find it for my Mac?

Basically, I have a video that was exported from Adobe Premiere Pro in the pre-CS3 days, which I want to open up in After Effects and Final Cut on my Mac Mini. The file is in *.avi format, and was created using the standard "export" option that supposedly didn't compress or alter the video. It does open, so I know that the file isn't corrupt, but it really doesn't like my Mac, and can't seem to find the codec it needs for Final Cut or After Effects. The file was created under Windows before I had a Mac, but I'd really like to get at it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, I realize that this could go in multiple forums, but since I need the video to run on my Mac, I posted it here. Mods can move this thread if they feel it would be better suited for a different forum.

Use mediainfo to ID the codec. Most likely it is DV-AVI or uncompressed (huge file). If DV-AVI, convert it to .dv (a lossless conversion) in Quicktime Pro.
