A tip to people new here to ripping, download 3-4 different versions of smartripper going back to ver 2.13, I have found that some work were others don't on different machines. For example, the newest version would not work on one of my computers with windows me (BSOD), had to use version 2.23, the newest version works great on my newest machine,(an AMD 1600+xp running windows XP. I bought a new notebook this weekend and the newest version would not unlock all the vob's, tried version 2.13 and it works fine. Just somthing to try if you are having rip probs.
Other people I have helped with ripping have had the same thing happen.

If all else fails try claddvd, between these two programs I have NEVER had a dvd that did not rip.
