Judging by my specifications, what do you think an average encoding time would be? ...and, should leave HT on or turn it off?

Heh! Wish that mouseover would stay up longer so I can actually read most of it. You don't specifically mention what you're converting from/to, though. This forum is 'DVD to (S)VCD, AVI' - quite different conversion processes and no-one can give an informed estimate without further information. With HT, of course, you would be using 2 and that should already be there.
