    Hello everybody,

I'm in front of a delicate choice : which one to buy ?
    DCR-PC330 or NV-GS200 ?

There are differences in specs, I know : 1CCD+Primary RGB filter/3CCD; effective video resolution is not the same 2,07Mpixels/3*440Kpixels...

I'm rather demanding on the video quality side : sharp and clean video, true natural colors. The rest is less important, but video has to be top notch.

So could somebody help me out, I've read lots of reviews on various forums. Both cams are good, if not pretty good. But it is difficult to have them tested prior to purchase, conditions in a showroom are not optimal; often both cams are not available together...

I might also consider the last upcoming NV-GS400 from Panasonic (3CCD's 3*690K effective pixels...optical stabilisation...Leica lens...)

    So what ?

    Thanks anyway

PS. Since video quality is an issue for me, I can share my experience to get the best possible quality on a plasma panel, over the entire video chain : from DV avi to Plasma panel, including wiring, DVD playback modes, DVD flags, ...

  3. I just switch from panasonic's DS9(5 years) to SONY PC330, I am disapoint to the PC330's performance!!
    1. Color is better under outdoor
    2. low light is worse than my old DS9
    3. color night shoot is useless
    4. no manual white balance : that's major problem , Most of my shoot is in-door, It's almost no way to make color correct under buble-light or combinational light source
    5. Static PHOTO function is poor than a $100 DC
    6. almost function need use toch-screen, & the LCD is so small!
    7. alway vertical pal line when any light source in the screen
    8. image blurred at low light situation : I notice almost eye is blurred at the indoor condition.
    9. battery last longer than my old DV(1,5~2 times), but take 3~4 time to recharge it.
    FYI
