I have a capture device that only caps at 352x288 AVIs, so Tmpgenc has to scale it down to 240 during the VCD encoding process.
The results look fairly good, but in anyone experience, is this scaling causing artifacts? I could swear that on slow moving, horizontal lines I'm seeing problems from scaling, not mpging.
I could be wrong about that, but my guess is that no scaling is better.
Any comments before I go out and buy something that caps at 352x240?
Thanks!
Mojo
