Hi, Me and my friends made a silent movie that plays along with a soundtrack. Some of the scenes where recorded with an analog camcorder (all in wide screen) and some of it was recorded with a sony digital 8 (widescreen).
My friend edited all of this together via the old school VCR pause/record method. The only problem is that the digital 8 camcorder uses animorphic widescreen so its fills the whole frame when you send it out to the VCR.
Well the whole movie is done now and I'm thinking of recording the VHS Tape to the digital 8 to try and correct it on the computer. Do you know how I can do this? The editor I have at home is pinacale 8 or 9, can't remember. It might be 8 with an upgrade.
OH.... and also... Editing on a vcr can leave (skips?, or blurs?) between some of the cuts, But if you watch it in black and white (which your suppose to) you don't see most of them. I Captured the vhs in black & white but it still showed the glitches. Any Idea how to fix these?
Thanks
Mongoo
