Oh no, wait, is that what the president made in his pants after he saw John Wilkes Booth aiming at him with a pistol?
-
no you use them to build log cabins. They have a notch in them.
-
Seriously, is it some kind of sausage? I remember hearing about them once and assuming it was something similar to Jimmy Dean sausage.
-
no it was a toy, brown in color. They nad notches in them so you could interlace and stack them.

I had a set of these when I was 8 or 9 years old, but I have no idea what ever happened to them. Probably sold in a garage sale many years ago. They were fun for a while, but I always seemed to run out just as I was getting close to completing a big project. :PEthernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny -
Like Roundabout, I had a set when I was 7-8 yrs old. They never had enough logs to build anything but a small cabin. If I had the original box and logs, probably worth some $ now. I think I had more fun with dirt piles and blocks of wood at that age, though.

Wow, that goes back a few. I had a set and all my friends did too. I also had a cheesy knock-off of Lincoln Logs that had waxed wood blocks that stuck together and made it easier.
Jeez - Gitreel - I wasn't aware you were a fossil like me -
I have some. I built my imaginary friend a house with them...we are putting a deck on the back of it this summer.
I used legos to build his car and some trees and things out of. -

The new LLs are still made of wood but include plastic roofs and windows.

I was regularly despised by other Lincoln-Loggers. I had two yellow chimneys.

one of my younger brothers had the Lincoln Logs and both younger brothers had legos - I never got into stuff like that actually...I was more outdoorsy, either doing handstands or walking on both hands 14 feet off the ground on monkey bars...or climbing rooftops, fences, trees, walls...or doing flips on my bike 8) -

When I was a kid, we used to pick up the used popsicle sticks and assemble them together to make throwing stars. We would fling them and they would disindergrate when the hit something.
We also made throwing stars out of asphalt shingles and nails, but thats another story.Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
I heard that story 50 squintillion times from my parents while growing up.
