I have read that AC-3 is more compatible with NTSC DVD.
So far my DVD-R's with MP2 plays in all players tried, which are DVD-R compatible.
Would AC-3 audio make a DVD-R work in a player not otherwise DVD-R compatible?

If a DVD player is not DVD-R compatible it does not matter what type of audio you use it will not play.
On the other hand if it is DVD-R compatible but not MP2 audio compatible you should try using AC3 audio. -
Thanks for clearing that up.
I quess I will continue using Mp2 untill I have a reason to convert to AC-3.
