    i have a standalone phillips dvd burner i am transfering my home movies to dvd,my question is i want to make copy's for gramma and uncle's on dvd but shrink will not open it i get a error, i tried disc to disc copy with nero but no luck,is this not possible with a standalone copy.

    Rip the DVD your standalone made with DVD Decrypter (recommended) or SmartRipper (if DVD Decrypter fails). When you have the files on your hard drive, just author and burn them.
