My Studio PCTV capture card and 450 MHz computer only allow 640x480 resolution video capture (PAL 25fps) with zero frames dropped when using the YUV12 format; however I get green lines in the view. Other formats such as YUY2 and UYVY loose 30-40% of frames (even using Huffyuv codec).
What's causing the green lines, and what can I do about them? It's not a software issue; I tried two capture programms.
thanks for any help or suggestions,
Mark.

I had a similar problem. Apparently one of the causes of this is a problem with data not getting across the PCI bus of your motherboard fast enough. I found that loading the latest chipset drivers cured this problem. So you need to find out what motherboard you have, go to thier website, and get the latest drivers.
Hope this helps
